MRI Project Manager, Wilson, NC 27893:
The Project Manager position at MRI is a key leadership role within the organization focused on client satisfaction, operational excellence, and successful project execution. The Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, on time, and aligned with client expectations. This role emphasizes relationship-building, proactive communication, team leadership, and a “client first” mindset that consistently exceeds expectations.

Duties and responsibilities:
The MRI Project Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining long-term client relationships while overseeing the successful coordination and execution of facility service operations and projects. This position works closely with clients, internal teams, supervisors, subcontractors, and field personnel to ensure operational goals are achieved and customer expectations are exceeded.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Serve as the primary liaison between clients and internal operational teams to ensure successful service delivery and project completion.
  • Manage client accounts and foster strong, positive relationships through consistent communication and responsive service.
  • Lead and support site supervisors, subcontractors, and cleaning crews to meet operational and project objectives.
  • Maintain a proactive approach to identifying solutions and resolving client concerns quickly and professionally.
  • Coordinate day-to-day communication and operational activities with Property Management teams.
  • Ensure facilities are maintained in a clean, safe, and orderly condition that reflects MRI’s commitment to quality and client satisfaction.
  • Train, coach, and evaluate staff on company policies, procedures, safety standards, and performance expectations.
  • Anticipate client needs and proactively address concerns before escalation while communicating updates to assigned Regional Managers.
  • Manage equipment, inventory, and supplies to align with operational budgets and productivity goals.
  • Schedule special projects and services while ensuring work orders are completed accurately and on time.
  • Conduct regular quality control inspections and oversee implementation of corrective actions as needed.
  • Provide professional follow-up communication and reporting to the regional manager.
  • Develop and maintain weekly work plans and operational reports for leadership review.
  • Oversee scheduling, work orders, and staff training initiatives.
    Utilize company software and management tools, including MRI QMR, Paycom, Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Attend scheduled meetings, training sessions, and operational planning discussions with company leadership and Property Management teams.
  • Support staffing operations, including hiring, onboarding, employee coaching, performance management, and terminations when necessary.
  • Manage administrative functions including employee punch monitoring, personnel action forms and attendance tracking.
  • Step into operational or supervisory roles as needed to maintain continuity of service and client satisfaction.
    Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, along with a solid background in facility operations, project coordination, and customer service.

Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum of two years of management and team leadership experience.
  • Minimum of two years of facility management or operations experience, including supervising teams and preventative maintenance programs.
  • Two or more years of direct customer service experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and professional communication skills.
  • Ability to build positive client relationships and lead teams effectively.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to fast-paced environments.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to pass background checks and drug screening.
  • OSHA 30 certification or ability to obtain certification.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English preferred.

Working conditions:
Requires driving to and from client facilities, walking, and lifting 50lbs, at times working outside, kneeling, and crouching. May be required to work nights and weekends. Maybe required to work unscheduled hours or as needed. Maintain shop organization, inventory closets, etc.

Physical requirements:
Position may be physically demanding, requiring sitting, walking, or standing for long periods of time, and lifting, pushing, and/or pulling heavy objects. Requires driving regularly.

MRI maintenance supervisors, site supervisors, sub-contractors, and cleaning crews as assigned
